I promise I am genuinely trying to remain within the rules with this website. I'm simply trying to provide a lot of the features that either have not yet been added to the site (such as better AH searches) or that would make no sense being added (the bbcode generators).

 

Any part of this webpage that takes a scry URL in as input is NOT pinging your server: your scry URLs have all the information for the scry in them, because it's essentially a long string with "primary gene = number, secondary gene = number" and so on, and once I decoded what gene all the numbers went to, parsing a scry URL into the actual data about the scry happens entirely on my (wix's) side.

I don't have any ads on here (and I don't think wix forceably places any either but I'm not sure about that), and I make no money off this site. It is purely a hobby I do for fun. Also I do not own Flight Rising (tm), their IP, any of the art, the rights to use their name, or anything. I am in no way associated with StormLight or the Flight Rising team. I am an entirely independent user of the site making tools for fun.

This site also doesn't scrape any data from the users. The only portion of the website that saves data at all is the Baldwin brewer portion, but that requires users to put in the information by hand, and the only data it stores is the cost of various items on the auction house. And that's all manual, none of that happens automatically and it doesn't ping FR's servers in any way. Edit:  Balwdin Brewer pages have been taken offline cause they need a lot of work before they're even useful. So currently no public pages save user data in any way.

All scry links placed into my site are not scraped: rather, they are "decrypted". I have figured out what every id number in the url represents, and I store all of that as a database. Database can be viewed here:

Which is also why the tools will usually be a bit behind official releases. This database was also created entirely by hand.
